OUGD503 - Inclusive Living - Branding & Identity

In order to stand out above the Architectural students submissions, I decided to use my graphical skills to grab the judges attention. Therefore, I also designed my companies brand identity and opened with it on my first design board. This way, it will intrigue the judges who will have already more than likely have viewed hundreds of complex and boring architectural submissions. My submission will hopefully be a refreshing change of pace to the overcomplicated design boards of the architectural students.

The final logo itself is a bespoke typeface designed to be the same shape and size as a shipping container. each piece of type produced has a resemblance of a 'pod'. Out of the two final designs below, peer and tutor feedback suggested that the square design had more of a connection with the container concept however, it looked a little too bold and industrial. Therefore, the design was streamlined below to give the type a more approachable aesthetic without coming across too strong.
