One large difference between normal maps and sat nav is that a sat nav interface always seems to be 3 dimensional. This could be to give the viewer a better sense of perspective and scale whilst travelling. With emerging 3 dimensional maps such as google earth, this could be an innovative way to showcase houses for sale within the real estate app.
