List of considerations -

Colour subtractive colour (process colour) CMYK additive colour RGB
Offset Lithography
Bleed
Spot Colour - it can be cheaper (only 1 printing plate)
Its possible to print colour that can't be produced using CMYK (Metallic, florissant)

Consistently in colour reproduction

Use pantone books to identify colour and then transfer using pantone CMYK colour books

Spot colours are also applied in screen printing

Look into focoltone and trumatch

Full colour photographic prints will cost more and therefore would be more efficient using black & white or one spot colour
