OUGD505 - Studio Brief 2 - Wax Character Experimentation

I melted the food wax in an old saucepan on the stove and dipped various different fruit into the liquid wax. As this solidified, I added google eyes onto the front of the characters. Through experimenting through this process however, I did encounter some problems. The first one is that this is a long and tedious process which utilises materials which cost a lot to produce. The second one is that a piece of fruit must be dipped into the wax 3 or 4 times to get a good solid layer, in the image above the fruit have only been dipped in once and you can see how thin the layers are.
