OUGD503 - Disaster Aid/Emergency Packaging - Sketch Concepts

After gathering a large body of structural and packaging research, along with research on regulations and disaster situation living conditions, I was able to sketch a variety of distinct concepts for my temporary housing conditions. All of these concepts are designed to be dropped into disaster zones and refugee camps and easily assembled by the user much like a tent.

Living conditions regulations of 45sq.m have been taken from the blog post OUGD503 - Disaster Aid/Emergency Packaging - Refugee Camp Research

Its raised design also allows the modular system to breathe and keeps the pods from getting wet and dirty. This aspect was integrated in from inspiration in the blog post OUGD503 - Disaster Aid/Emergency Packaging - Vernacular Architecture after identifying the benefits of the passive cooling techniques utilised with the stilts on the traditional Malay houses.
