Researching into various books from different libraries has not only given me an insight into floorpans and architectural designs, but also showcases how architecture can be formatted and photographed into a publication. The combination of blueprints, photography and editorial block text has been intertwined using full bleed imagery and negative space to create succinct composition.
Analysing the blueprints below has revealed the design style which is used in representing architectural design. Now that this monotone line vectored style has been identified, it should be feasible to reproduce using Adobe Illustrator or hand rendered sketches. This new found knowledge will definitely inform the style and design decisions of how my concept is represented.
Due to not having the knowledge of architectural design software programs, other more graphical design approaches will need to be applied.
