With the brief having a large amount of information to analyse, I dissected every detail of what the client was asking. Having this criteria already set out really helped to define a direction for my project. A large body of research was conducted into the client, their history and morals as a company along with competitor brands. I could gather an idea of their ethics and what is realistically possible to produce given the companies worldwide scale.
For me, it was an opportunity to embed some of my own morals and ideologies into the project in the hope that my project may go on to make a positive impact to the world. Homelessness is a huge area which I hope to impact positively throughout my career, my volunteering within Manchester Lifeshare Homeless Shelter was a great source of inspiration and primary research which helped to form the concept.
Overall, I think that the concept successfully raises awareness for the issue of homelessness along with directly answering the brief in an innovative way. Given more time, I would like to produce a prototype magazine with a larger span of content for the first issue of the publication.
