OUGD504 - Studio Brief 1 - Further Bookbinding & Durability Enhancement Research

Diving deeper into the internet to find more advanced bookbinding methods have revealed a multi-section cased-in binding technique which uses strips of fabric to enhance the books durability. This could be applied to my previous versions of bookbinding experimentation to create a hybrid saddle stitch, this could take elements from this method to create a completely unique and hopefully strong binding method. Further experimentation will be conducted to see if this method will be appropriate for the final book design.
