Mevis talks of every book starting with a question and the more precise the question, the clearer the answer. Looking at my project from this perspective, I can attempt to word my brief as a question. By wording it as a question, it gives my book more of a purpose which I can discover a solution from. To solve this solution, I need to become open with my thinking. Rethink how every element of my book can work, Rethink the form, Rethink the way which the information can be displayed, Rethink the editing and production methods. Some books are also explained as over designed and undersigned, it is important to find a balance between the content and the book design. All books start from their content, use this to format an idea for a book. If you relate the concept to the content and the content to the form then you have succeeded. You need to undertake trial and error to realise the appropriate form. The content is a form of content in itself.
