'Bluestine, E. (2001) The Ways Children Learn Music: An Introduction and Practical Guide to Music Learning Theory, GIA Publications'
By doing this, I can consider the fundamental teaching methods of sound and visualisation. The author refers to sound-before-sight-theory, where children learn the basics of audio through this process. She proposes that 'high' and 'low' tones in a piece of music is a conceptual manufactured way of learning, it does not explicitly describe the music in the best way. This reaffirms the notion that I must start with the initial piece of music before I even consider moving to the visualisation stages of the project. Therefore, I will listen to various pieces of music and take down notes on any initial emotions felt, this way I can proceed to use the emotions to produce a visualisation of the music.
