The two weeks prior to this blog post has involved forming a group to work with, this group consists of Irfan Afzal from LAU Level 6 Graphic Design and 2 other external close friends (Milo & Yorlig) who are up and coming DJs in the Leeds and Manchester areas. We will also be getting feedback and design support from Harvey Williams, a Level 5 Graphic Design student.
Working alongside a DJ in a creative context has been an aim of mine for a few years now, I believe that this opportunity will allow me to gather communication and teamwork skills which will be hugely beneficial to my practice, these skills would be detrimental were I to work within a music-related company such as Mixmag.
