I have gathered images to create mood boards to represent my initial independent ideas to present to the group.
'Not£$' Exhibition
The first concept was to create a 1930's business theme using old furniture and wallpaper. Primarily the main colour would be green and would be used on wood chipping board to spray paint the logo on. The artwork would be presented in separate picture frames and there would possibly be a classy fancy dress theme for all the student attending with suits and dresses.
The second concept would be a modernist minimal exhibition using geometric shapes. There would be a triangular mural on the wall made up from different currencies from around the world.
Here I have mocked up an example of what the mural might look like.
The final concept was to celebrate the anti forgery systems which bank notes use, mainly the use of UV. The exhibition would have UV lights and a uv painted way finding system. There would be a feedback wall with UV pens to write with and the posters of the exhibition would be printed using screen print UV inks.
